Legends
In the golden age of piracy, the treacherous waters surrounding Bloodstone Island were ruled by the notorious Captain Varoth, a name that inspired both fear and loyalty in equal measure. Known as Lord Varoth the Bloodborn, he was a figure of shadows and whispers, wielding power not just over his crew but over the very seas he sailed. His ship, the "Crimson Ghost," was a floating fortress, feared for its ruthless plundering and for the bloodlust that drove Varoth’s crew.
One fateful night, under a blood-red moon, Lord Varoth vanished without a trace. Stories of his disappearance have spread like wildfire among the taverns..
The most sinister of the stories speaks of a dark ritual performed by vampires that have haunted the shadows of Bloodstone Island. It is said that one stormy night, Varoth encountered these creatures, seduced by their promise of immortality and power. In the depths of blood and betrayal, he accepted their dark gift but paid a hefty price. From that night onward, he became not just a captain but a vampire lord, spreading terror and thirst across the seas. The Bloodborn curse would infect his former home, unleashing a tide of darkness upon Bloodstone Island that still festers.. Anyways it's just a story..
